Learned more about how maps work. Really cool effects can be achieved with the smallest detail and the right references of course. I must admit though I'm not the best painter.

Weapon of choice...

So I figure this guy should be smelly, brutal and frightening, but also have child like qualities hence the diaper. I think the most disturbing thing to note with this character is the thumbs hanging from his shoulder pads. The weapon of choice is a cleaver which make the thought of a boogie monster hacking of little children thumbs even more appalling.... Meet BABY HACKER!
Oh yea a side note is that he lore's little kids with the bright pacifier attached to the end of his cleaver!!

As I progressed...

As the class went on... I began to get a little more comfortable.

I recently took a 3d modeling class at Mica that concentrated on game art. I learned a tremendous amount of knowledge and effective techniques. The theme of our one and only project was Boogey Man. Our art had to show some influence of the great Paul Bonner. So I did my best and got trucking. Here's the process.
